This peg loom woven hot water bottle is super cosy to snuggle in with, and the insulation of the wool will keep that bottle hot for hours!
Nellie is one of my pure Shetland home-bred ewes, with a beautifully soft fleece - some of her little curls still visible in the twisted fibres. Nellie was born my first spring here, the only lambing I had to assist with that year as she was breach, and she is a big fan of a cuddle! She has been purely pasture-fed her whole life, converting all the vegetation she eats into energy and fibre - and this sequestered carbon, wonder product will keep you cosy for years to come!
The fastening is some homespun yarn, naturally dyed with local windblown lichen, the warp is Twool (from British sheep) so the cover is 100% wool, and the hot water bottle is made from Fairtrade natural rubber - as sustainable as we can get!
