A hand-knitted hat using our own Shetlands yarn, double knitted for extra warmth, with two natural lock bobbles handcrafted with fleece from Ola's sides.  This fits baby heads 32-44cm circumference (newborn to 9 months).
 
Ola is a Hebridean ewe with a gorgeous shaggy fleece, streaked with a tiny bit of grey this year.  One of my first Hebrideans from the Hirsel, she is an amazing forager and looks beautifully suited to the heath, but doesn't like you to get too close!  She is pasture-fed in our little hanging vally, so her fleece is just vegetation converted into fibre by her clever body - and this carbon-sequestering wonder product will last for years to come, perfect to pass down the generations!
 
This is a natural, hand-made product and there may be variations in the yarn, and small pieces of vegetable matter present.
 
100% wool, hand wash only, do not tumble dry.
