A hand-knitted hat using yarn from Dornoch Shetlands and Judith Glue  - with a natural lock bobble handcrafted with fleece from Patchio, using the darker, wavier wool from over his britches.  This will fit baby heads 30-40cm circumference (preemie - 6 months).
 
Patchio is a Shetland, my first homebred tup with a soft crimpy fleece - he is a total sook, always up for being adored and will practically sit on your knee if you put enough time in with ear and chest scratches!  He is pasture-fed in our little hanging vally, so his fleece is just vegetation converted into fibre by his clever body - and this cosy, carbon-sequestering wonder product will last for years to come, perfect for passing down the generations!
 
This is a natural, hand-made product, and there may be variations in the yarn and small peices of vegetable matter present.
 
100% wool, hand wash only, do not tumble dry.
