A hand-knitted hat using yarn from Farm Ness and West Yorkshire Spinners  - with a natural lock bobble handcrafted with fleece from Patchio, using the darker, wavier wool from over his britches.
 
Patchio is a Shetland, my first homebred tup with a soft crimpy fleece - he is a total sook, always up for being adored and will practically sit on your knee if you put enough time in with ear and chest scratches!  He is pasture-fed in our little hanging vally, so his fleece is just vegetation converted into fibre by his clever body - and this cosy, carbon-sequestering wonder product will last for years to come, perfect for passing down the generations!
