A hand-knitted hat using yarn from Dornoch Shetlands and Woolly Sheep  - with two natural lock bobbles handcrafted with fleece from Tiggy, using the coarser, wavier wool from over her britches.
 
Tiggy is a Shetland homebred ewe with a soft crimpy fleece, she is a bit timid so stays out of the way unless treats are on offer!  She is pasture-fed in our little hanging vally, so her fleece is just vegetation converted into fibre by her clever body - and this cosy, carbon-sequestering wonder product will last for years to come, perfect for passing down the generations!
